The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

Since I left Penn State, I have been working for a wonderful non-profit organization named Eastern National. Our venues support the National Parks, Recreation Areas, and Monuments on the eastern side of the Mississippi River. I work in my hometown of Philadelphia, PA for Independence National Historical Park. Since we are primarily an educational resource for all of the school children, parents, and adult tourists, the majority of our merchandise is geared toward information and learning - not so much about touristy stuff, although we have that too! One of the benefits for teachers and educators is that we offer a 15% discount on all items bought in our stores. It doesn't matter what district or state in which you teach, as long as you have a teacher's ID or proof of teaching. An added bonus is a tax-exempt form from the school district. So, tell all of your teaching buddies and faculty and spread the word. Our primary store (Pemberton House) is located at 316 Chestnut St. in Philadelphia. We are open 9 to 5, seven days a week. So, come visit us soon!
